yes that koala is as cute & soft as he looks (& yes Rob IS enjoying it thaat much)

Just a little info, we were at a sanctuary but the animals roamed free & you could do pretty much whatever you wanted.

However, in the wild, we did see wild dingos, kangaroos (mostly road kill), weird birds, and.... a camel (see below)
Did you know that Australia is the biggest exporter of camels either to the middle east, or other than the middle east? (i couldn't be bothered to look it up, but still an interesting fact either way)

This is a green ant. Its bum is filled with ascorbic acid (vitamin C) & apparently the indigenous peoples used to eat them by the buckets. BUT, because Australia's all about the conserving their wildlife, we aren't allowed to eat them.... but we are allowed to lick them.... tastes like lime.

Plus, some weird & random, but mostly disturbing animals we saw...a toad race at a local pub, & a dead horse on the side of the road.
