Freak Hail Storm
So, it's winter here. Most of the time you can't tell cuz it's pretty warm. But Sydney has freak storms. On this particular day, it was a gorgeous blue sky day. And then at around 4pm, we were in the lecture hall & the rain was so loud we couldn't hear the professor yelling into the microphone. Turns out it was hail. It hailed straight for about 25 minutes and by the time we went outside this is what it looked like.
This was one of the bigger ones that i saw.
This field was a complete swamp. About 30 minutes later the sky cleared. You can see the white cloud & blue sky peaking out here.

Crazy hail. Did you do anything cool with it? Hail-men (as opposed to the softer, but still white precipitation equivalent)? Hail fight?
Kew-wel! You know what's weird? Your campus reminds me a lot of Oxford. It's like we're living in the same place but thousands of miles apart.
Ouch, I wouldnt want to be standing outside during that hail storm. Cool pics.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
