Freak Hail Storm

So, it's winter here. Most of the time you can't tell cuz it's pretty warm. But Sydney has freak storms. On this particular day, it was a gorgeous blue sky day. And then at around 4pm, we were in the lecture hall & the rain was so loud we couldn't hear the professor yelling into the microphone. Turns out it was hail. It hailed straight for about 25 minutes and by the time we went outside this is what it looked like.





This was one of the bigger ones that i saw.















This field was a complete swamp. About 30 minutes later the sky cleared. You can see the white cloud & blue sky peaking out here.

Doctorry Stuff

Just for people who aren't sure what's happening here. Rob has transferred into our program. So we go to all our classes, & the hospital, & the labs together. yay!

The pics from our trip in the last post were taken during our 2 week break between semesters.

It's true, it's not all fun & games here. We're studying a lot. Us at our computers & reading textbooks don't make for good blog pics.
But, i thought i'd throw in a few pics of medical type things.






These are peeps in my clinical group on my hospital days. Putting the splint on was good times. And then there's us scrubbing up & gowning up. So, in summary, we've pretty much been taught how to wash our hands & play dress up.
